How to add Arcturus to Metamask

MetaMask is a popular crypto wallet that allows users to easily connect to various blockchain networks. If you do not have MetaMask installed, please visit metamask.io to download and install the extension.

Follow these steps to add the Arcturus network to MetaMask:

Method 1

Step 1: Open MetaMask

1. Open MetaMask: Click on the MetaMask icon in the upper right corner of your browser to open the extension.

2. Access Settings: Click the circle icon at the top right corner, then select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

1. Navigate to Networks: In the Settings menu, navigate to "Networks" and click on "Add Network."

1. Add Network Manually: If the Arcturus network isn't listed, scroll to the bottom and select "Add a Network Manually."

2. Enter Network Information: Input the following network details:

   • Network Name: Arcturus Testnet

   • New RPC URL: https://rpc-testnet.arcturuschain.io

   • Chain ID: 5615

   • Currency Symbol: tARC

   • Block Explorer URL: https://testnet.arcscan.net

3. Save Network: Paste the values from the provided information and click "Save" to add the network.

4. Switch to Arcturus Network: After successfully adding the network, you will receive a success message prompting you to switch to the newly added network. Switch to it, and you will see it displayed at the top middle of the app.

Method 2

If you prefer to use Chainlist to add the Arcturus network to MetaMask, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit Chainlist

Head to the Chainlist site at chainlist.org.

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet

1. Connect Wallet: Select 'Connect wallet' in the top right corner to connect your wallet to the site.

2. Successful Connection: When successful, the address of your selected account will replace the 'Connect wallet' button.

Step 3: Find and Add Arcturus Network

1. Search for Network: Use the search bar to find the Arcturus network.

2. Add Chain: Once you’ve found it, click the 'Add Chain' button next to the Arcturus network.

Step 4: Approve Network Addition in MetaMask

1. MetaMask Approval: MetaMask will now prompt you with an approval menu. Click 'Approve' to proceed.

2. Switch Network: A menu will follow, asking if you want to switch to the new network immediately. Confirm or reject this depending on your needs; either way, the new network will be added.

You can now use your MetaMask wallet to perform transactions on the Arcturus network, manage your tokens, and interact with dApps.
